What is Competency based training?
Competency based training is about learning skills, it focuses on what is expected of an employee in the workplace rather than on the learning process.
Who can do a course?
Anyone. Qualifications are suitable for all levels of learning ability.
When will I have to make payment?
Payment for the course is due at time of enrolment.
What if I am not able to attend a class / session?
Most qualifications are available via correspondence.
Where will my qualifications be recognised?
All qualifications achieved with DTA are nationally recognised.
Can I complete the course sooner than specified?
A qualification will generally take between 12 and 24 months to complete. This period could be reduced depending on various factors such as your previous experience and skills. This should be discussed with your trainer at Direct Training Australia.
Can I get financial help with a course?
If you require financial help with a course you should discuss with our BDT representative, or visit your local Centrelink Office or Jobnet Centre.
I cannot see the course on your website that I want to do?
Please contact your relevant state. Office locations can be located in 'About Us'.
Can I still complete a cert III if I have not completed part II?
This is dependant on the qualification you enrol in. Some qualifications have pre-requisite units at level two. You will be required to compete these units prior to commence your certificate.
Is an exam involved at the end of the course?
When completing evidence based assessments you generally do not have undertake an exam.
