Description
This course provides workers in this occupational group to work primarily in residential facilities under direct or
regular supervision within clearly defined organisational guidelines and service plans. These workers carry out
activities related to the maintenance of an individual's personal care and/or other activities of living. These workers
report directly to a supervisor and are not responsible for other workers.
Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local
communities in the provision of services.

Description
This course provides workers in this occupational group to work in residential facilities within defined organisational
guidelines and service plans. These workers carry out activities related to the maintenance of an individual's well
being through personal care and/or other activities of living. These workers may provide services to individuals with
complex needs, and/or work with groups of older people. Work may include training and support to promote
independence and community participation. This may be provided as part of activities and programs in a variety of
settings including residential and centre‐based programs.
Workers may be required to supervise and/or co‐ordinate a limited number of other workers. Workers at this level
are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and history and to work with local communities in the
provision of services.

Description
This course provides workers in this occupational group to work in residential facilities and/or in community
agencies and day centres, under supervision within defined organisational guidelines. These workers design,
implement and evaluate health and leisure for clients in one or more sector areas. These workers may be
responsible for other workers. Work may be under professional supervision within defined organisational guidelines
or as sole practitioners. Workers at this level are required to have an understanding of Indigenous culture and
history and to work with local communities in the provision of services.

Description
This course is for people who work or want to work in residential facilities, community or government agencies as a
business manager, employment services manager or program manager.
You will develop the skills and knowledge to undertake a range of functions to achieve results in line with
organisational goals and strategic directions. These skills include specialist communication skills, coordination,
leadership, mentoring and coaching skills as well as knowledge of statutory information requirements, occupational
health and safety management systems and risk management.
